Rene Garcia
Founder, Instructor
While in the Marine Corps, during boot camp, I earned my water survival qualification and knew that I was very comfortable in the water. I have been around this globe and have been snorkeling in many countries, and have wished I could learn to scuba, but didn’t have the chance at the time. I was honorably discharged in 1985.

I received my PADI Open Water certification in 2007 and have been hooked ever since. I received my PADI Instructor rating in 2020 and am looking forward to sharing and teaching scuba to others who seek new adventures. I am certified to teach PADI Open Water courses, Emergency First Responders as well as some other PADI specialty courses.

Being in the water is just a great place to be. Other than my bed, it is my happy place.

My love for the ocean began as a young girl. My Navy father would take me camping in Mexico where he taught me to swim, surf and dive. Rene and I have been married 33 years and we share this love for the open waters filled with sea life and adventure. Our dream is to share this wondrous underwater world with as many people as possible in hopes that they will find the joy that we have and to bring awareness to the conservation and protection of all underwater life and the water that gives so much to the world.
